Privacy Policy
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what information Tarmovo (operated by Teliologix, "we," "us," or "our") collects when you use our flight-delay and travel-benefit checker, how we use it, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
Coverage checks (no account required). When you check what a card covers, we process the card, scenario, and delay details you enter to show you a result. If you're signed out, this isn't tied to an identity we retain.
Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and password (stored as a salted hash — we never see it in plain text), and optionally a phone number if you opt in to text notifications.
Trip and claim details. Flight numbers, dates, delay reasons, and the card and benefit you associate with a trip, so we can track claim deadlines and prepare what you need to file with your issuer.
Receipt images. If you upload a photo of a receipt to prefill an expense, we process the image to extract line items (merchant, amount, date). We retain the image only as part of your claim record; you can delete it at any time.
Usage data. Basic technical data (such as pages visited and device/browser type) to keep the Service reliable and secure.
3. How we use your information
- Show you what a card covers for a given travel scenario.
- Maintain your account and the trips and claims you save to it.
- Send the notifications you've opted into — for example, a flight-delay alert or a claim-filing deadline reminder — by email and, if you've added a phone number and opted in, by text message.
- Extract expense details from a receipt photo you upload, to save you from typing them in by hand.
- Maintain the security and integrity of the Service.
We do not use your trip, claim, or receipt data to train AI models, and we do not sell your personal information.
4. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us operate Tarmovo, under obligations to protect it and use it only to provide their service to us:
- Supabase — hosts our database and handles account authentication.
- FlightAware — provides live flight status used to detect delays and cancellations.
- Twilio— delivers text-message notifications, if you've opted in.
- Resend — delivers email notifications.
- Anthropic and/or OpenAI — process receipt images and benefit text you or we submit, when AI-assisted features are enabled, solely to return the extracted result.
We don't share your information with credit card issuers or other third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Tarmovo or others.
5. Cookies and similar technology
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your session. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.
6. Data retention
We retain account, trip, and claim data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service. Deleting your account removes your profile and notification preferences; associated trip and claim records are deleted or anonymized unless we're required to retain them longer for legal or security reasons.
7. Your choices
- Turn email or text notifications on or off at any time from your account settings.
- Edit or delete a saved trip, claim, or receipt image.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls, and database-level row security — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's privacy
Tarmovo is not directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
